The Grand Ducal Police have launched an appeal for witnesses of a sexual assault on a girl which took place on 30 October 2015.
At around 16.50, a girl was walking along Rue Michel Lentz in Esch-sur-Alzette when she became aware of a man by the bus stop who appeared to be filming her. As she attempted to walk away and put some distance between her and the suspect, a second man appeared behind her and touched her several times on various parts of her body. The first man packeted his cell phone and reportedly groped the girl as well.
An eyewitness arrived on the scene, stopping his car after seeing what was happening. At this point, the two men ran off. However, the police have no personal details of the witness and are therefore calling on this witness, and any other individuals with information relating to the incident, to contact the Esch-sur-Alzette police department at 4997-5500.
