General Romain Mancinelli, Chief of Staff of the Army, Philippe Schrantz, General Manager of the Grand Ducal Police, and Police Inspector General, Monique Stirn, today honoured a colleague who was killed during a bank robbery in the 1980 with a commemorative ceremony.
Patrice Conrardy of the Grand Ducal Police was shot dead at the age of 34 during a bank robbery on 30 October 2015. A commmorative day was today held at Walferdange cemetery, marking 30 years to the day since his death. Romain Mancinelli, Philippe Schrantz and Monique Stirn laid a wreath at the Morts de la Force publique monument during the ceremony, which was attended by Director of Human Resources, Patrick Even.
