The Grand Ducal Police today launched an appeal to the public for information concerning on a man suspected of credit card fraud.
On 22 October 2015, an elderly woman was robbed of her purse in the car park of a supermarket in Mersch. The lady was sat in her car when an individual arrived to distract her whilst an accomplice stole the lady's wallet from the passenger seat. Shortly thereafter, the thief attempted to withdraw money with the stolen cards.
The Luxembourg policy have therefore called on the public to come forward with any information relating to the identity of the suspect, whose image was caught on security footage.
