Sixteen individuals have been arrested following a police raid of a narcotics network in Wasserbillig yesterday morning.
Investigations had been underway for several months before the Judicial Police Service conducted a raid action against a major African narcotics network in Wasserbillig on the morning of Tuesday 27 October 2015.
More than 200 police officers from various units and customs services were involved in the action, with Europol providing analytical support. The Grand Rue in Wasserbillig was temporarily closed to traffic as a total of 50 people were monitored. 16 individuals overall were arrested, and will appear before the examining magistrate in Luxembourg.
