At its cabinet meeting last Friday 23 October, the Luxembourg government approved a draft amendment to the Grand Ducal Regulation of 9 January 2009 concerning the protection of certain species of wildlife.

The draft Regulation includes the grey wolf in the list of animals fully protected in order to ensure the protection of gray wolf as required by Directive 92/43/CEE.
