On Wednesday 21 October 2015, the Ville de Luxembourg held its 5th Health Safety Day at Bonnevoie cultural centre, allowing City staff the opportunity to gain information from 18 stands representing different City departments as well as external stakeholders.

During the course of the day, multiple practical training sessions and conferences were also organised, including workshops on the use of fire extinguishers and defibrillators. Other features included jogging and Nordic walking sessions, as well as wide-ranging conferences on relaxation techniques, good posture, diabetes, adiposity, depression, disability awareness, noise, the work environment and computer security.

Alongside health awareness, the Ville de Luxembourg aimed to promote respect for the Environment of Health Safety Day, by providing organic and fairtrade products for attendees, of which there were than 350 people from 40 different departments.

The Ville de Luxembourg services which took part in this information day were HR management and corporate security; health and diversity; communications and public relations; environment management; water; fire and ambulance, integration and specific needs; security; sports, psychological support; information technology and communication; school medical service; and the city sports club.
