Several vehicles have ended up damaged and a driver was left injured following a hit and run in Luxembourg City yesterday evening.
Shortly before midnight on Wednesday 20 October 2015, the Grand Ducal Police received reports of a hit and run on Rue de Bouillon, in which a driver had damaged another vehicle with her car and fled the scene.
Minutes later, a second collision occurred along not far from the area of the first accident, along route d'Esch. Here the driver, reported to be female, had rammed two stationary cars which were left badly damaged. In the collision, the motorist was thrown from her car and was subsequently taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The exact cause of the accident is being investigated. Investigators have requested a blood test.
