The 2nd edition of the Home & Living Expo came to a close at Luxexpo on Sunday 18 October 2015, offering a salon of live discoveries.
The Home & Living Expo provided an opportunity for the public and specialists to meet face to face and make contacts in the five salons conducive to discovery and exchanges.
"The strength of Home & Living Expo lies in its ability to bring together in one place the largest community of specialists of housing, construction, renovation, furnishing and decoration to present the developments of the market and consumer trends to visitors," commented Jean-Michel Collignon, Director of Luxexpo.
The Home & Living Expo approach forms part of the Government's goals to develop multichannel commerce in Luxembourg. Hyper-connected, hyper-informed, this process turns the customer relationship on its head.
"The public holds an important pressure on the content and format of the events they choose to visit," explained Morgan Gromy, Director of Operations of Luxexpo. "By taking the lead, the audience moves the requirement level, now they set the rules! They want an innovative and sociable offer which solves real problems and constant multi-channel communication. Organisers and exhibitors must successfully identify and locate their targets, and always be the first to present their new products if they want to maintain their loyalty".
The second edition of the Home & Living Expo was attended by around 30,000 visitors during the nine days it was open. The organisers of the Expo announced that future editions will be geared towards innovation, value and experience rather than just products and services, in order to offer as much as possible to participants.
The layout of the Expo was also different this year, with traditional straight paths replaced with a staggered arrangement around agoras, allowing visitors to experience a variety of gastronomy and entertainment along the way. A playground, exhibitions, street art shows, daily concerts and BMX performances were all available this year for guests.
The Home & Living Expo has announced that is aspires to become a 'one-stop shop' for innovation in living for the entire Greater Region.
"We are pleased with this secon edition of Home & Living Expo, both in terms of the collaboration with our partners, as well as the development of the general concept," continued Jean-Michel Collignon. "We are now going to take another step. We want to go further in supporting our visitors, in order to best meet their needs. Whilst all the elements are brough together to provide quality advice for nine days on a specific topic, a clearly identified community of visitors are interested in our entire programming throughout the year. As community manager we are working on the development of tolls to promote the quality of contact between exhibitors and visitors, not only during but after the event".
