Luxembourg's Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure has annoucned changes to the awarding of fishing and hunting licences across the Grand Duchy as from Monday 5 October 2015.
As a result of the abolition of segregated districts, the Grand Duchy is now being treated as one single region, for both three-day (guest) hunting licences and (inland waters) fishing licences.
The Administration of Nature and Forests is now responsible for issuing 3-day hunting permits for guests, with applications rrequested a fortnight before the planned hunting date(s).
Regarding the fishing licenses for inland waters, they will be issued by the Administration of Water Management in Diekirch. Tourist licenses and permits for fishing border waters will be administered without change, and will also be available in towns that have offered this service to date.
