On Tuesday 28 April 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced the details for the opening of the “Konscht am Gronn” (Art in the Grund) 2026 season.
Sunday 3 May will mark the opening of the 21st season of the popular open-air exhibitions, which take place on the first Sunday of each month, from May to October, on Rue Münster in Luxembourg-Grund.
Organised since 2006 with the support of the VdL, the “Konscht am Gronn” market offers visitors the opportunity to discover and acquire a wide range of works of art and original creations (paintings, drawings, photographs, ceramics, woodwork, metalwork and sculptures) from around twenty artists of different nationalities.
Admission is free and, as in previous editions, a free concert will take place from 14.00.
The National Museum of Natural History (25 Rue Münster) will also offer free access to all visitors during the “Konscht am Gronn” days.
The open-air gallery “Konscht am Gronn” runs from 10.00 to 18.00 on the following dates:
• Sunday 3 May
• Sunday 7 June
• Sunday 5 July
• Sunday 2 August
• Sunday 6 September
• Sunday 4 October
On the days of “Konscht am Gronn”, the following adjustments will apply to public transport:
⁃ Bus line 23 will be diverted in both directions via Fetschenhof and Pulvermühl and that the Grund district (Stadgronn Bréck stop) will not be served during the event. However, a shuttle N23 to the Grund will be put in place from the Luxembourg Central Station (platform 1), departing at the same times as line 23, both at the station and in the Grund.
Rue Münster in the Grund is accessible via Rue de Prague and Rue Sosthène Weis or via the St Esprit car park on Boulevard Roosevelt, connected to the Grund by a lift.
Snacks and drinks will be offered by various businesses in the Grund and on site by La Grocery and Vins Fins, with a dedicated food truck.
