Irîs has announced two upcoming photographic art exhibitions entitled "Echoes and Contrasts - Geometry in Symmetry and Chaos Mk IA".

The first will be held at Foundry (38 Route d'Esch, Luxembourg-Hollerich) from 17 February to 14 April 2025 between 09:00 - 17:00 or by appointment via foundry.lu, with a vernissage on Friday 14 February 2025 at 18:00 including an exclusive concert by Irîs.

The second will be held at The Spirit (5 Rue des Bains, Luxembourg-ville) from 21 February to 13 March 2025 between 17:00 - 01:00 (Mon-Thu), 16:30 - 01:00 (Fri) and 14:30 - 01:00 (Sat-Sun), with a vernissage on Thursday 20 February 2025 at 18:00 including an exclusive concert by Irîs

Irîs have started producing drone and dark ambient music at the beginning of 2023 and got into creating visual pieces based on digital photography in April 2024. After two successful exhibits last summer in Ostend (where some of the original photos were taken) and in Luxembourg City, as well as a participation during a collective exhibition at Kamellebuttek in Esch-sur-Alzette, and a first live performance at Feierfest in Pétange, Irîs have kicked off their activities in 2025 with two exhibitions in Luxembourg-City. Besides the confirmed participation at "Maacher 8" later in April, more events will be scheduled later in the year.

Echoes and Contrasts - Geometry in Symmetry and Chaos

Step into a realm where shadows and light dance with geometric precision and abstract chaos. Each piece in Irîs's collection is a captivating journey, blending the structural elegance of symmetry with the unpredictable beauty of chaos through a harmonious interplay of shapes and contrasts.

Every artwork invites the viewer to delve into a universe of hidden dimensions. These pieces provoke curiosity and contemplation, as they reveal echoes of familiar forms in unexpected and mesmerizing ways. Whether it’s the serene alignment of mirrored shapes or the dynamic arrangement of abstract patterns, each creation resonates with the rhythmic pulse of both order and disorder.

This symphony of art draws inspiration from the subtle play between elements, allowing imagination to wander through the delicate balance of geometry in varying states of harmony and entropy.

Visiting Irîs's exhibition will see attendees being prepared to witness the intriguing fusion of symmetry and chaos, a testimony to the endless possibilities within the artistic journey where structured forms meet unrestrained creativity.

Irîs will also present some of their musical output during the event.
