On Thursday 23 January 2025, the municipality of Steinfort, together with its consultative Commission for cultural affairs and tourism, held a vernissage in relation to the first exhibition of this year's Galerie CollART, which is is open the next three weekends, Fridays to Sundays, at 15 Rue de Hobscheid (Steinfort).

This first exhibition of the year highlights the work of three talented self-taught Luxembourg artists:

- Annette Lambert: Inspired by nature and organic forms, Annette transports you into her world of sensitive and creative paintings and collages.
- Romain Schwind: A master of simplicity, his pure sculptures combine iron, wood and stone in a harmony of sober colours and remarkable concision.
- Frank Feyder: Frank, a Steinfort resident, explores the richness of colours and textures through an intuitive and experimental approach, transforming emotions and everyday experiences into exceptional works of art.

Both Romain Schwind and Frank Feyder attended the opening and spoke briefly, presenting their works and style to those attending, before a crémant reception.

Chronicle.lu talked with Frank Feyder who said: "I am a self-taught artist who is passionate about the diversity of colours and textures. Over the past three years, I have become increasingly drawn to art and creation, which has led me to develop my own style without any formal academic training. My work is characterised by an intuitive and experimental approach, where each piece is an adventure in itself. I enjoy playing with fluids, contrasts and harmonies, using various media such as alcohol inks and resin. My inspirations come from nature, human emotions and everyday experiences, which I translate into vibrant, colorful and expressive visual compositions. In recent years, I have had the opportunity and privilege to participate in several group exhibitions, where I was able to share my artistic vision with a diverse audience. These experiences have allowed me to grow as an artist and reinforced my belief that art is a powerful medium for communication and emotion."

Romain Schwind shared his thoughts with Chronicle.lu, stating: "I like to create something new by using things that other people no longer see any use in and would rather throw it away. You could almost call it upcycling, but it inspires me. The result of a piece does not have to be perfect, but if I like it, however simple and minimalist the sculpture may be, the work is done and I am happy with it. Every sculpture is unique and I am having fun; that is important for me".

Unfortunately, Annette Lambert was unable to attend the gallery opening.

The exhibition is open from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 January, from Friday 31 January to Sunday 2 February and from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 February, on Fridays from 17:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 19:00.
