The Choir of the University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu Choir) has confirmed that it raised more than €2,000 to support Ukraine through its recent charity concerts.
At its three concerts in Luxembourg-Gasperich, Bridel and Bertrange, on Sunday 9, Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13 June 2023, the Uni.lu Choir collected €2,020 for charity from the 300 attendees.
Of the amount raised, €1,485 will be given to the Ukraine Is Calling campaign run by LUkraine asbl, which is raising money for rescue vehicles in Ukraine. A further €535 is going to support a refugee project led by the church in Gasperich.
