Immaculate was written by Oliver Lansley and will be directed by Clare Williams.

Immaculate is a dark comedy: The play takes us on the whirlwind journey of Mia, a part-time dominatrix. After deciphering the code of a home pregnancy stick, she confirms that the large bump on her stomach is in fact a baby, but not having had sex in over a year, is perplexed as to whose it is and how it got there. Her ex-boyfriend, an angel, the devil and a hopelessly eager admirer join the story; continually increasing the farcicality of the plot in an attempt to illuminate the situation. With a modern-day twist this play comedically challenges the age-old question-begging doctrinal elements. This is a high-energy, fast-paced comedy which messes around with the traditional concept of chorus and uses soliloquy to drive the plot. The entire play is set in Mia’s living room with the exception of one flashback scene which takes us very briefly into a bar/nightclub.

Characters:
- Mia, twenty/thirty something
- Rebecca, Mia’s best friend
- Michael, Mia’s ex-boyfriend
- Gabriel, an Archangel
- Lucifer, a Fallen Angel
- Gary Goodman, Mia’s old classmate
