The New World Theatre Club (NWTC) has announced details of upcoming performances and related workshops Crime Scene Improvisation (CSI) workshops, being held in Luxembourg next month.

The popular CSI murder mystery comedy, which received great acclaim in Luxembourg two years ago, will be returning to Altrimenti (5, Avenue Marie-Thérèse, L-2132 Luxembourg) from Thursday 17 October to Saturday 19 October 2019. This promises to be a rip-roaring crime comedy, chosen by the audience and entirely made-up on the spot by the cast.

Tickets cost €16 for NWTC members, €18 for non-members or €12 for students. To purchase tickets, e-mail tickets@nwtc.lu or tel. 356-339.

The show will be followed by two CSI workshops over the weekend of 19-20 October. With the tagline "creating truthful relationships through improvisation", these workshops offer participants the chance to learn and develop skills used in the Crime Scene Improvisation show, namely "grounded improvisation". Once comfortable, participants will then have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned by playing different scenes.

CSI member Steve Bond has described the weekend workshops as an introduction to "the principles of improvisation, the practice of creating dramatic scenes in the moment, without a script".

The Saturday workshop will be held from 14:00 to 17:00 at Altrimenti (5, Avenue Marie-Thérèse, L-2132 Luxembourg). Participation costs €50 for NWTC members or €65 for non-members. The Sunday workshop will be held from 10:00 to 17:00 at Beggen Cultural Centre (26A, rue de Rochefort, L-.2431 Luxembourg). Participation costs €90 for members or €110 for non-members. Both workshops together cost €130 for members or €160 for non-members.
