On Wednesday 18 March 2026, Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg announced that as part of Luxembourg’s upcoming presence at the professional trade fair jazzahead!, it will host a club night on Friday 24 April 2026 at 20:00 at Tor 40 in Bremen.
Jazzahead!, which will take place in Bremen (Germany) from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25 April, will feature a delegation composed of Luxembourgish musicians, bookers, programmers and managers who will represent the national scene at the stand “Jazz from Luxembourg”.
Kultur | lx said its presence at the industry event, which annually brings together nearly 3,000 professionals from around sixty countries, constituted “an important opportunity to expand their international network, develop new partnerships and exchange ideas with key players in the global jazz scene”.
Following a call for applications, three projects have been selected to represent the richness and diversity of Luxembourgish jazz creation: Veda and the String Quartet, Arthur Possing feat. Joel Rabesolo and SINGÜLAR.
Ahead of the club night, professionals and partners are also invited to the traditional “Jazz from Luxembourg” reception, organised at Tor 40 on Friday 24 April 2026 at 19:00, to meet the delegation and discuss future projects and collaborations.
Kultur | lx noted that Luxembourg’s participation in jazzahead! is part of a broader strategy: Luxembourgish musicians now benefit from heightened visibility abroad, with an increasingly strong presence at international festivals, notably at Jazz à Vienne and SPARK in Edinburgh in 2025.
