Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and Minister of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, is set to pay a working visit to Israel and Palestine from Tuesday 9 to Thursday 11 January 2024.

In Jerusalem and Ramallah, Minister Bettel will have meetings with members of the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority, as well as with representatives of international organisations and civil society.

Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade noted that the situation in Gaza and the search for a peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be on the agenda of these discussions.
