The Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has announced that the Grand Duchy is donating 100 electric generators to Ukraine.

In response to the damage caused by the war and following requests from Ukraine made via the European Union (EU) Civil Protection Mechanism, Luxembourg will donate 100 electric generators with a total value of €335,000 to the war-torn country.

Of these 100 generators, the first 40 were handed over to the Ukrainian authorities on Thursday 2 November 2023. The shipment of the other generators is planned for the coming weeks. The EU will cover the transport costs of the entire operation.
