On Thursday 20 July 2023, Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel travelled to Paris for a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
As reported by Luxembourg's Ministry of State, Prime Minister Bettel and President Macron discussed current European issues during this meeting. At EU level, they discussed in particular the mid-term review of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework and issues surrounding enlargement.
The meeting took place at the Élysée Palace, the official residence of the President of France.
