The Luxembourg American Cultural Society (LACS), a US-based non-profit organisation responsible for maintaining ties between Luxembourg and America, has announced that it is introducing new summer opening hours this week.

Starting Thursday 17 June 2021, the LACS will be open to the public Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 to 16:00. The Dooley-Wagner Research Center will continue to be open by appointment based on times that work best for guests' schedules. It may also be possible to schedule a visit to the centre on a closed day if staff is available.

Appointments can be made by contacting museum curator Serena Stuettgen via tel.: 262-285-5041 or via email: sstuettgen@lacs.lu

The cost to visit the Luxembourg American Cultural Center is $9 for adults and $7 for senior citizens and students. Children aged 12 and under go free, as do members of the LACS, members of the Time Travelers museum reciprocity programme and veterans / military members. As part of the Blue Star programme, families of active military also receive free museum entry through 6 September 2021.

From 22 to 24 July 2021, the LACS will be offering "Sheboygan County Free Days", where residents of Sheboygan County are invited to enjoy free entry to the Cultural Center with proof of residency.

The LACS is based at the Luxembourg American Cultural Center in Belgium, Wisconsin, which also houses the Roots & Leaves Museum, Dooley-Wagner Research Center (the largest research centre for Luxembourg studies and genealogy outside of the Grand Duchy) and a Luxembourg gift shop.
