Luxembourg's Prime Minister and Minister of Communications and Media, Xavier Bettel, will leave on Sunday for a 3-day mission to the east cost of the US; the aim of his trip is to gather information on trends and current happenings in the domain of ICT (information and communications technology) in the US, specifically New York.
Following a similar working visit to the US west coast in February, PM Bettel is now visiting the east coast, the second pole of dynamic progress in the field of technological innovation, particularly in terms of FinTech and Venture Capital, after Silicon Valley in California.
PM Bettel will meet with US firms and Luxembourg companies based in the United States to learn about the latest trends, developments and opportunities of the digital world.
He will also seize the opportunity to present the priorities of the future Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union to American interlocutors.
