On Sunday 29 May 2016, the Belle Etoile Shopping Centre held its annual Marche Gourmande, at which the Belle Etoile and the Lions Club Mameranus raised €10,120 for the Association Luxembourg Alzheimer (ALA).
The 7.5 km walk was punctuated by five gourmet stops: appetizer, starter, barbecue, cheese and dessert.
No fewer than 506 adults took the start of this beautiful gourmet stroll, accompanied by more than 70 children. In addition to the €10 paid by the Belle Etoile for each adult registered, the Lions Club Mameranus made the generous decision to double this amount.
The result was the presenation of a cheque for €10,120 which was presented to the Alzheimer Association Luxembourg.
