Blending gypsy music with Latin grooves, the sultry sounds of the 1930s and dynamic beats of modern pop, Paris Combo, led by singer Belle du Berry, is heading for the Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck (CAPE), this April for a one-night show promising a mixture of fun, curiosity and the joyous paradox of being retro and modern at once.

Paris Combo have been performing for more than twenty years, releasing six albums along the way, in arenas all over the world. Their next album, Tako Tsubo, is due for release in May this year, which they’ll follow up with a tour of the USA, New Zealand and Australia before retuning to Europe.

With twenty tours in the US already down, including six symphonic concerts at the legendary Hollywood Bowl, Paris Combo say they are one of the few French bands to make their name internationally, in French and embodying a “Frenchiness” that is very much appreciated abroad.

The gig at CAPE will bring forward their new work and as well as some of their favourites from the past.

The concert is at the Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck (CAPE) at 20:00 on 6 April. Tickets are €26, €13 for those under 26, and can be ordered online: www.cape.lu
