Konrad Café & Bar in Luxembourg-ville will be hosting an English Comedy Night on National Day (23 June 2019), from 20:00.
On this occasion, Luxembourg Comedy, in association with Kondrad Café, will provide a dose of English-language stand-up comedy to cure those National Day hangovers.
On the agenda is performances by comedians Angel Garcia (Spain), Jess Bauldry (UK), Deepu Dileepan and Stefan Bobner (Austria).
Considered the funniest Spaniard outside of Spain, Angel Garcia is a regular on the Luxembourg Comedy Circuit who does not mince any words when it comes to humour.
Jess Bauldry got her first taste of comedy growing up in a UK pub where she endured decades of bad dad jokes. After many years of forehead slapping, she moved to Luxembourg where she has been honing her craft in the country's finest stand-up venues. A regular on the local comedy circuit, Jess performs in French and English.
Deepu Dileepan is a former social scientist turned writer/ comedian. His credits include appearances on RTL TV, "Funny business with Deepu" on ARA Radio and Live108.4FM, with over three million views on YouTube. Currently based in Luxembourg City, his credits include performances in Seattle, New York City, Vienna, Mumbai, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Cannes, London, Bonn, Edinburgh, Dublin and Barcelona among several others.
Stefan Bobner is an Austrian comedian based in Strasbourg, France, where he founded and runs the English speaking StraFUNkel Comedy nights. His humour covers a variety of subjects ranging from the difficulties of being an Austrian in France to the complexities of climate change. He performs in English and French.
Seating is limited. Tickets cost €10 online or €12 at the door.
