UK artist Anna Calvi will perform at this year's "Bock op..." festival on Wednesday 10 July at neimënster.
Following the success of last year, neimënster is bringing back the festival "Bock op...", which replaces the OMNI festival. In a spirit of permanent openness, the shows proposed by neimënster are aimed at a large family audience attracted by the convivial character of the concerts and animated by values of respect and tolerance.
Among the confirmed artists for the 2019 edition of the festival is English composer and guitarist Anna Calvi. Inspired by the voices of Nina Simone and Maria Callas and the sounds of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix, Anna Calvi is a multi-instrumentalist who has left her mark on the world of rock. Her uncompromising music is perfectly embodied in her third album "Hunter". As she takes the neimënster stage, Anna Calvi will present music that rages against gender stereotypes and norms that condition boys and girls from childhood.
Tickets cost €22 (€1.50 with the Culture Pass).
Doors will open at 20:00 for a 21:00 start.
