WeOrganize.lu has announced that it is holding an Indonesian Soirée on Friday 29 March 2019 from 19:30 at Eirelux in Howald (40 Rue des Bruyères, L-1274 Luxembourg).

This culinary and cultural evening will again feature the chef Ion who will be preparing an Indonesian buffet, with jazz singer Edith van den Heuvel and her small Jazz band (Paulo on guitar and Fred on saxophone) performing during the evening.

As usual with WeOrganize.lu events, there will be a Charity tombola with many gifts, the proceeds of which will go to the charity "Asociacion Unidos por Venezuela"

Menu Buffet Indonesian soirée:

Entrée:
- Kroket kentang (indonesian kroketten) (v)
Main:
- Gado-gado (v)
- Dutch Indonesian semur daging (javanesse beef stew) or Semur tofu (v) for vegetarian option (need to reserve in advance!)
- Telor balado (v)
- Sayur lodeh (Vegetarian yellow curry) (v)
- Chicken satay or Tempe satay (vegetarian option, need to reserve in advance!)
- Bakmi goreng (v)
- Achar (pickled cucumber and carrot)

Tickets €55/person (includes dinner buffet & entertainment). There will also be a few stands from the regular WeOrganize.lu Crafts Fair with some talented people and some health and beauty products, for those wishing to be pampered.

Charity:

Asociacion Unidos por Venezuela was created in Luxembourg in 2016 to give humanitarian help to people in need in Venezuela. Since 2014, the scarcity of food and medicines increased and people in Venezuela have seen their health threatened and many have died. The hospitals in the country do not have basic medical supplies and medicines. Also, people cannot buy food because of its high price and this has caused them to look for food in bins. The charity's main goal is to help Venezuelans with food and medicines, but it needs help. To feed a child for a month in Venezuela costs €20.
