The Folk-Clupp Lëtzebuerg ASBL has announced that the Welsh group Allan Yn Y Fan will perform a concert at the Chateau de Bettembourg on Wednesday 27 September 2018 at 20:00, organised by Lukas asbl with the support of the folk club.
Established in 1996, this multi-instrumental and vocal sextet has been credited as playing a key role in "....establishing the rightful importance and place of Wales within Celtic music and helping to put it well and truly on the musical map...." Living Tradition Magazine.
Touring internationally since 2003, the band has performed concerts and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Brittany as well as at home in the UK where appearances have included Celtic Connections Glasgow (twice), the Great British Folk Festival, Bromyard Folk Festival, Wallingford Bunkfest, Shepley Spring Festival and Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru.
