Open-air Market to feature Organic Plant and Seed Exchange

An Open-air Market is to be held on Saturday 5 May 2018 between 10:00 and 18:00 at Co-labor (1 Grevelsbarriere, L-8059 Luxembourg), organised by CELL and hosted by Co-labor.

The organic plant and seed exchange (Bourse aux plantes bio) is the perfect opportunity to visit suppliers to purchase seeds and pesticide-free plants. This event offers the following:
• Plants and seeds swap;
• Sale of seedlings and plants, flowers and vegetables;
• Producers' market organised by co-labor;
• Workshops and animations for young and old; and
• Snacks and drinks for sale.

Over 40 stands will be present offering organic, fair-trade and upcycled goods and services including: seedlings, vegetables, cheese, sausage, preserves, jams, coffee, chocolate, handmade soap, craft beer, eau de vie, food supplements, hand knitted baby sweaters, clothes, upcycled clothes, upcycled handbags, outdoor lights, outdoor wooden furniture, and alternative finance. Co-labor’s grocery store, florist, nursery, agricultural machinery shops, and the restaurant, serving organic and vegetarian food, will be open. Children's games are organised and a strolling music group will creative a festive atmosphere.

There will be a shuttle bus running from Leudelange station and Bertrange-Strassen station. There is also limited parking available on site at Co-labor, so taking the shuttle bus is recommended.
