Rotary Luxembourg is organising its 6th annual Special Screening avant-premier of the highly-anticipated Disney film "A Whisper in Time" on Sunday 25 March 2018 at 10:30 at both Kinepolis-Kirchberg and Kinepolis-Belval (choice of FR, DE, EN).
Proceeds from the screenings will go towards their Espoir-En-Tete charity initiative which involves supporting brain research in Luxembourg. In 2017, around 5,000 spectators attended the screening of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, with over 4,000 in 2016 for the Disney's Jungle Book, at which €50,000 was raised. In 2015 more than 3,000 spectators attended the screening of Disney's Cinderella in no less than 13 screening rooms. The 2014 screening was Saving Mr. Banks, with The fantastic world of Oz in 2013. The 2015 donation of €25,000 went to support the activities of experimental laboratories at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) to buy new equipment (Mx3005P QPCR System 230V) to be used to measure the activity of genes in biological samples - this instrument is used mainly in research on Parkinson's disease.
Synopsis: Following the discovery of a new form of space travel as well as Meg's father's disappearance, she, her brother, and her friend must join three magical beings - Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which - to travel across the universe to rescue him from a terrible evil.
