Details: A day dedicated to encouraging the public to question who is really making their clothes, and at what cost, Fashion Revolution is a non-profit whose creation was inspired by the collapse of the Rana Plaza in Bangladesh in 2013, killing more than 1,000 people and injuring another 2,500. Many of the dead and injured worked for garment shops operating in the building, contracted to make the clothes sold on high streets around the world, in punishing, and unsafe, conditions.

Fashion Revolution want to raise awareness and bring change in the fashion industry. The movement also aims to empower female fashion makers everywhere; they are the 80% in the fashion industry after all and they need better working conditions more than anyone.

The Luxembourg event is the result of a partnership between Caritas Luxembourg, Rotondes, What.Eve.Wears, Risaikourou, Impashion and a team of volunteers, all animated by the question: #WhoMadeMyCIothes?

The schedule includes exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops on ethical fashion and upcycling, knitting, creating a capsule wardrobe, and a panel discussion on why we should think about fashion if we care about sustainability.
