Details: The #CookForSYRIA Luxembourg event will take place on 13 May 2017 at the Supper Club at the International School of Luxembourg, starting from 19:00.
The Luxembourg event forms part of a global initiative based on socialising and food to raise funds and awareness for the local organisation Hariko and the UNICEF Syrian Crisis Appeal.
Local Syrian and Luxembourg chefs will cook at the event, preparing a buffet style Syrian meal to be shared at large, family style tables or, for an extra price, at a table for six.
As well as being a fundraising event, several of the guests will be people who have recently arrived from Syria. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about Syria and its culture while dining on authentic Syrian food and a chance to share about Luxembourg with the newcomers.
