Details: British Immigrants Living in Luxembourg's (BRILL) event entitled "A Cup of Tea – Gratuit!" will be held on Saturday 25 March between 11:00 and 15:30 in the Grand Rue/Place Roude Pëtz in Luxembourg-Ville.
The free tea event has been organised to coincide with the Unite for Europe march taking place on the same day in London.
The event also aims to express the gratitude of BRILL members to their adoptive country by offering free cups of tea to shoppers in the Grand Rue, a symbolic gesture to raise awareness of the situation of British people living in the rest of the EU as well as that of EU nationals living in the UK in the context of Brexit.
BRILL was established after the UK’s 2016 EU referendum, and aims to preserve the status quo of British nationals living in Luxembourg. It currently has over 1,000 members, from British EU officials and employees in the financial and legal sectors to students, NGOs and the creative industries, as well as retired people who call Luxembourg home.
