Details: The opening of the University of Luxembourg's lecture series on inclusive schooling will be held on Wednesday 15 March 2017 on the Belval campus, from 17:30 to 19:00.
In cooperation with the Grand Duke Henri and the Grand Duchess Maria Teresa Foundation, the University of Luxembourg has planned a series of lectures on the history and challenges of schooling for children with learning disabilities.
Her Royal Highness The Grand Duchess will honour the event on Wednesday with her presence and will deliver a welcome speech, whilst Jean-François Delsarte, diocesan director of primary catholic education for the Diocese of Liège will be the guest speaker on this opening conference entitled “Inclusive schooling: history, challenges and perspectives”.
While our society has moved forward on a policy of integration and a more inclusive schooling culture for these children, 21st century schools are confronted with a new rationale in education. Throughout the MercreDYS series, specialists will tackle issues such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia in education during ten conferences that will take place from 15 March to 5 July.
The opening event will be held in French.
