Details: The conference “Louis Emile Durandelle (1839-1917) et la photographie de chantier” will be held at the Musée Dräi Eechelen on Wednesday 15 March 2017 from 17:30.

In the framework of its temporary exhibition Pont Adolphe 1903, the Musée Dräi Eechelen has organised a series of conferences in partnership with the Institut francais du Luxembourg.

The next conference focuses on the study of French photographer Louis Emile Durandelle, who was most well-known for his photographs of construction sites and architecture in Paris between 1860 and 1890.

The museum’s current exhibition is dedicated to the photographer’s images of the construction of Luxembourg’s Pont Adolphe.

The conference will be given in French by architecture and photography historian Charlotte Leblanc.

The “Pont Adolphe 1903” exhibition has been extended to 3 September 2017, with guided tours taking place Wednesdays at 17:00 and Sundays at 16:00 in French, German and English.
