Details: The FORTRESS Consortium's joint conference on understanding, modelling and managing cascading effects in crises, will be held from 16 to 17 March 2017 at Rue Félix Hap 11, 1040 Brussels.

The FORTRESS consortium invites the public to participate in their joint conference of projects funded by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme: CascEff, CIPRNet, FORTRESS, PREDICT and SnowBall.

The conference will be held over two days in Brussels. The conference will focus on four main themes related to cascading effects during crises and will also feature presentations of the foresight tools developed by each of the projects.

These themes are organised around four panels:

Session 1: Understanding of cascading effects

Session 2: Modelling of cascading effects

Session 3: Acting on cascading effects during crisis

Session 4: Implementation of results and tools into practice

Places are limited and registration should be made by Friday 10 March.
