Details: A journey through the memories of the Portuguese Empire, its symbolic representations and its role in the narratives of national identities in Portugal. Prof. Teresa Pinheiro, professor for Iberian Studies at Chemnitz University of Technology and Elsa Peralta, research fellow at the Centre for Comparative Studies (CEC) at the University of Lisbon, Portugal, will discuss the interplay between history, memory and nation.
