DetailsJCI Luxembourg to Explore Luxembourg Beer Industry

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Luxembourg has announced that their next Monthly Meeting will be held on Wednesday 15 February 2017 at 19:00 at Jakobs House (9 Rives de Clausen, L-2165 Luxembourg-Clausen).

This month will see Mathias Lentz, from Bofferding (Brasserie Nationale), address the members.

In 2012, Mathias Lentz, a native Luxembourger, joined Brasserie Nationale, a 253 year-old family company. For the first two years of his career within the company, he worked in China developing the Bofferding brand, before moving back to Luxembourg in 2015. Since his return, he has been working in France developing the growing French market, both on and off trade, whilst maintaining the company’s activity and presence in the Chinese market.

Brasserie Nationale has a 56% share of the beer market in the Grand Duchy, with Bofferding at 44% and Battin with 12%, the equivalent of more than 32 million pints. Around 20% of all beer brewed by Brasserie Nationale is exported to foreign countries - France, Belgium, China (since 2007) and the United States (since 2014)
