Details: The University of Luxembourg has announced a Lunchtime Seminar in Law: The EU Regulatory Approach to Blockchain Technology, taking place on Tuesday 31 January 2017 at 12:00 on the Kirchberg Campus in the conference room B.001 of Weicker Building (4 rue Alphonse Weicker, L-2721 Luxembourg-Kirchberg).

A lunchtime seminar on the EU Regulatory Approach to Blockchain Technology is offered by the Research Unit in Law of the University of Luxembourg. Nikolas Guggenberger, RWTÜV Foundation Assistant Professor of IT Law the University of Münster, will present the new regulatory approach of the European Union to new technologies like blockchain and crypto-currencies, which are significantly impacting the financial sector. In addition, derivatives on crypto-currency basis will be discussed.

Lunch is planned for registered participants.
