Details: Chapter 1 Irish Poetry, Painting and Music Event with Niall Mac Monagle

Irish teacher, editor and art critic Niall Mac Monagle will launch his poetry anthology ‘Windharp- Poetry of Ireland since 1916’ on 9 December 2016 at Chapter 1 The Book Loft (40, rue des Bruyeres, L-1274, Howald), from 18:30 to 20:30.

Chapter1 has announced that Niall Mac Monagle will be launching his Irish poetry anthology at the event, at which the Irish Ambassador to Luxembourg H.E. Paedar Carpenter will be present, as well as discussing Roderic O’Connor’s painting ‘Une ferme à Pont-Aven’.

The event will begin with readings from ‘Windharp- Poetry of Ireland since 1916’ followed by an intermission with complimentary drinks and canapés and music by Comhaltas Cheoltóirí Éireann, Lucsamburg.

During the second part, Niall Mac Monagle will give a talk on the painting ‘Une ferme à Pont-Aven’ by Roderic O’Connor, which will be followed by a trip to the new Irish pub ÉireLux for ceol agus craic (music and craic).
