Details:  LuxFLAG Breakfast Seminar on Climate Finance

LuxFLAG, Luxembourg's fund-labelling agency, is organising the next edition of its breakfast seminar at PwC Luxembourg (2 rue Gerhard Mercator, L-2182 Luxembourg) on 13 December 2016, on the topic ‘Climate Finance: Matching politics and investments' with Marc Bichler, Ambassador-at-large for Climate Change and Gunter Fischer, Senior Investment Manager, European Investment Bank.
 
After the ratification of the Paris Agreement, the challenge lies now in matching countries’ ambitious national climate action plans with investors’ commitments to invest in climate solutions. What are the challenges in fundraising and establishing a fund investing in climate projects? What structures and financing mechanisms are common for climate projects? What risks do investors in climate change projects face and how do they mitigate them? These topics will be addressed during the breakfast seminar.
