Details: Inspiring More Sustainability (IMS) Luxembourg is organising a series of events over the coming weeks and months, as follows:
- 13 October @ 08:15 - 10:00 @ Kneip (33 rue du Puits Romain, L-8070 Bertrange): Innovation Workshop: "Creating projets for a sustainable territory". This breakfast workshop will feature the presentation of the results of the study on the mobility of the Bourmicht activity zone users and to think of solutions together.
- 20 October @ 2nd Job Café on Job (Dis)ability @ in the premises of ADEM in Hamm: This informal event reuniting both motivated job-seeking candidates who are in a situation of handicap, and potential employers who are aware and open to inclusion, is an opportunity to bring this targeted public and the ordinary working life together. During half a day, the preliminarily prepared candidates and the companies having participated in the preparation and awareness workshop, will have the possibility to exchange on each others competencies and eventual possibilities they could mutually offer one another. After the first Job Café that was concluded with 7 candidates being offered contracts, IMS intends to renew this wonderful experience.
- 25 October @ 15:45 - 17:30 @ Nicolas Braun Centre (474 route de Thionville, L-5886 Hesperange): CONFERENCE ON SOLAR ENERGY IN COMPANIES - Solar4business: more energy in your company! IMS joins the municipality of Hesperange's intiative "Solar4business". Come and assist the conference on photovoltaic and thermal systems, a beneficial solution to energetic transitioning in companies. The community of Hesperange, the Ministry of Economy, ENOVOS, énergieagence and BGL BNP Paribas will inform you on the measures of incentive that are put in place by the State, the new technologies in favour of an eco-friendly company, and the returns on investment with concrete examples
- 14 November: Luxembourg Sustainability Forum. The strategy of the Third Industrial Revolution in Luxembourg will be disclosed during the Luxembourg Sustainability Forum on 14 November 2016! 2016 will mark the 5th edition of the IMS Forum, which will revolve around the restitution of the Third Industrial Revolution strategic study in Luxembourg. The American economist Jeremy Rifkin as well as deputy Prime Minister Étienne Schneider, will both attend. Today, a transition toward the Third Industrial Revolution is underway, and Luxembourg is the first country to get prepared at the national level. During the forum, different parts of the Grand Duchy’s national strategy will allow you to discover how the country enrols in the co-construction of this new sustainable economic model. “Luxembourg thus becomes the perfect laboratory to test these different innovative and smart ideas at a national level.” - Étienne Schneider. On the agenda of this event: conferences, discussion panels, exhibitor areas, networking and CEO dinner.
- 13 December @ the Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette: Part&Act Speed Meeting. Participate in the Bus Tour and the 4th Edition of the Part&Act Speed Meeting. The Part&Act Speed Meeting is a unique and friendly event in Luxembourg where you can exchange competencies (IT, legal, in communications, etc.), goods (furnitures, computers, office supplies, …) or even services depending on your domain of expertise. This event is specially designed for you and others to develop knowledge and exchange mutually.
