Details: Bee Together and the natur&ëmwelt Remich Section are organising an event about wild solitary bees, taking place on Sunday 14 August 2016 from 10:00 to 12:00 (meeting at 09:50 in the car-park beside the ponds near Wintrange).

The group will observe and try to determine the species of wild solitary bees that they encounter during the excursion. The guide (Fernand Feitz) will explain their lifecycle and what actions one can take to improve their sources of food and habitat. The group will be led by Annemie Debackere.

There is no cost for the event though the organisers would appreciate donations based on the principle of: Pay What You Wish. The money collected from the event will be used to create a panel on solitary bees at the Haff Réimech ponds and/or in the Biodiversum visitor centre. You can either put money in the donation box at the event or transfer your donation to Bee Together's bank account: Bank Account: BCEE; Bank Branch: BEI / EIB; IBAN: LU46 0019 4555 2039 4000
