Details: As part of the Digital Lëtzebuerg initiative, the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) and the Ministry of State (SMC) are organising a series of events specially designed to present the new General Data Protection Regulation and to guide attendees through its implementation.
CONFERENCE
The conference is being held on Tuesday 11 October 2016 from 09:00 to 16:00 at the University of Luxembourg in Esch-Belval and will aim to present the main changes in the new regulation.
SPECIALISED INFORMATION SESSIONS
Information sessions are organised according to the line of business (In the morning: French / In the afternoon: English)
14 Nov: Banks & professionals from the financial sector (« PFS)
15 Nov: IT service providers, support PFS and non-PFS (e.g.: cloud, web hosting, data center, etc.)
16 Nov: Areas of health and research
17 Nov: Development in software, web, apps, etc.
18 Nov: Startups (in the morning and only in English)
In order to better target the needs of atendees, to meet their expectations and to try to overcome their doubts and uncertainties, questions, feedback and comments on the new regulation and its implementation are welcomed by email: gdpr@smc.etat.lu before 23 September 2016. They will be integrated in the information sessions.
