Details: On Saturday 28 May 2016, Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie will be hosting a Do-It-Yourself Festival, featuring workshops teaching visitors how to recycle, knit and repair.
Organised by the Centre for Ecological Learning Luxembourg (CELL), Transition Network Luxembourg and Rotondes, the Festival is now in its fourth edition. From 14:00, 1-2 hour workshops will be held regularly, to be registered for on-site via a blackboard that will be made available on the day.
Visitors are invited to bring things they no longer have need for, with specially-dedicated spaces to be set up for a variety of categories from multimedia, books and toys to clothes and food. Representatives from the organisation will be on-site all day to help participants and answer questions.
At 19:00, a communal meal will be held, with participants able to contribute a dish, a salad or a dessert. The event is free and based on community exchange.
