Details: On Sunday 1 May 2016, the 'Konscht am Gronn' open air exhibition will take to rue Münster for its 11th season.
Set up on the Grund bridge overlooking the Alzette, the exhibition enables visitors to discover and acquire a variety of original works from paintings, drawings and sculptures, to ceramics and photographs, in picturesque surroundings. Between 1,200 and 1,500 visitors are expected to explore the creations of thirty artists of 10 different nationalities.
As in previous years, the Konscht am Gronn will offer a concert featuring international musicians at 14:30, whilst food and drink will be provided by local food retailers.
The official opening of the 11th edition will be held at 11:00 on Sunday 1 May 2016 in the presence of Lydie Polfer, Mayor of Luxembourg City, with musical entertainment to be provided by 'Grënnesch Spatzen' and 'SoundGesellschaft'. From then on, it will take place from 10:00 to 18:00 on every first Sunday of the month up until 2 October 2016.
The band performing at the afternoon concert will change each month, featuring groups from Luxembourg such as Blue Swallow and Skyfish, Germany such as SoundGesellschaft and France in the form of Tandem.
