Details: 'Who Cares? Who Shares? Men as Actors and Beneficiaries in Gender Equality Policies' will be the theme of the 3rd International Conference on Men and Equal Opportunities taking place in Luxembourg on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 October 2016.

Organised by the Luxembourg Ministry for Equal Opportunities with the support of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth of the Federal Republic of Germany, the conference will take place in French, English and German with interpretation provided. The conference will take place at the Maison du Savoir in Esch/Belval.

Centred around the primary theme of 'Caring Masculinities', the October event will focus on men as both actors to achieve gender equality, as well as victims of current bias, featuring different angles such as the work/life balance for men, men and child care, men and voluntary work, the promotion of men in care professions and men and self-care.
