Details: Sunday 24 April 2016 will see the first annual Kick4Life 5-a-side football tournament here in Luxembourg; the tournament will be held on the pitch of FC Schengen in Remerschen from 14:00 and is being organised by the AktivKidz charity.

Kick4Life is a charity, operating in Lesotho, which uses the power of football to educate young people about HIV prevention, helping them to develop critical life-skills for remaining HIV-free and providing voluntary counselling and testing. Lesotho is a small country in southern Africa with the world’s second highest prevalence of HIV (23.2%). The epidemic has devastated families and communities, leaving more than 130,000 children orphaned.

The afternoon fun tournament will kick-off at 14:00 and will have something for all of the family. Whilst the football tournament is open to adult teams of all abilities, there will also be plenty for the rest of the family to do.

The So Food truck will be in attendance serving their excellent burgers and fries. The Beer Club will be offering some great beers from around the world, and MonVin will also be there should those attending prefer to try some different wines.

For children, as well as the burger truck, there will be soft drinks, cake and sweets available as well as football games, so it will be an afternoon for all the family!
