Details: Smart ICT Standardisation will be the focus of a new workshop being organised for Monday 11 April 2016 by Girls in Tech (GiT) Luxembourg, ILNAS and GIE ANEC.
The workshop will explore how the standardisation context of the ICT sector works, how standards and innovation are linked, as well as current challenges and stakes. Participants will learn the benegits of standards and standardisation, in addition to understanding how to form part of one of the largest multi-stakeholder communities of experts contributing to the future of ICT. A university certificate 'Smart ICT for Business Innovation' developed by ILNAS and the University of Luxembourg will provide attendees with an insight and outline of the 'Smart ICT' issues, such as Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Big Data, currently shaking the sector. The university certificate provides a base analysis of these Smart ICT from technical and business perspectives, combined with standardisation know-how.
