“Ruthie Foster’s style is a remarkable synthesis of blues and folk, mixed with gospel, pop and soul. In 2009 her album ”The Truth According to Ruthie Foster” was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. At the Blues Music Awards in May 2010, Ruthie was voted ”Best Contemporary Female Blues Artist of the Year”.

The Printemps Musical 2016 Festival of world music and jazz will be starting on Sunday 6 March and will continue up to Wednesday 27 April.
This 34th edition of this festival presents a display of ten concerts at the Den Atelier in Luxembourg-Hollerich, Neimënster in Luxembourg-Grund room and the Conservatory of the Ville de Luxembourg in Merl.
