Details: Having recently hosted a number of fun and successful events, such as the launch of the monthly ACR Book Club and the Charity Quiz Night at Theatre National du Luxembourg, ARA City Radio has another event coming up in which members of the international community may be interested; this time the DJs are inviting people to join them on Wednesday 2 March on a tour of Luxembourg’s largest brewery, the Brasserie Nationale Boffering in Bascharage.
Breakfast host Sam Steen said “I am constantly out and about hosting different events in Luxembourg and I realised that people are really interested in getting more involved with the station, so it seemed a natural progression to go ahead and organise a variety of events that will attract different groups of people. It is a fun and relaxed way for us to get to know our listeners, equally it is a great way for people to get to know each other and make new friends”.
On Wednesday 2 March a bus will pick people up at the Glacis Bus Park at 18:30. The Brewery Tour will start at 719:15 and last approximately one hour. After the tour the group will go to the Bofferding Brasserie for a bite to eat with traditional Biérschméier. The bus returns to the Glacis for 22:00.
The cost of the event is €25 per person and all profits will go to the Luxembourg Cancer foundation.
